Choose your switches, then click on the Rackmount Chassis (in the "Related Products" column of the previous window) to choose the 19-inch chassis that best fits your application. If you order fewer switches than the maximum number the chassis will hold, you can specify additional punchouts for future expansion—free! Just ask Tech Support for your Free Punches Code when you order! These guaranteed-for-life switches enable one common device with a RJ-11, RJ-45, or DB style connector to be shared by other devices. Or, in the case of the telco models, you can manually switch a common telco cable between other telco cables. When ordering switches, be sure to select switches with connectors that match your cables and equipment, the correct pinning, and the number of switch positions you need. (Remember that an ABC switch has just two positions, not three.) You can mix several types of switches in the same chassis. If you decide to mix and match, our Tech Support experts can tell you the maximum number of switches you can install in each chassis. And keep in mind: Selecting your switches is the first step of the ordering process. You'll also have to choose a Standard or Mini Rackmount Chassis (SR000A or SR001A) featured in the "Related Products" column of the previous window. The maximum number of switches that will fit in either chassis is indicated in the price chart. (NOTE: The "per Standard" and "per Mini" amounts refer to the number of switches you can put in a Standard [SR000A] or Mini [SR001A] Rackmount Chassis.) Also, if there’s space left over in your Rackmount Chassis, remember to plan for future expansion by specifying punchouts—extra holes for additional switches.
