                過濾分離主要基于以下三種機理 直接攔截  慣性撞擊 擴散攔截

                直接攔截 : 液體中的基本過濾機制,本質是一種篩分效應,機械攔截顆粒,當顆粒大于流道孔徑時即被該結構去除,通過搭橋作用,尺寸小于濾孔的顆粒也可被攔截,

                慣性撞擊:尺寸小于濾材孔徑的顆粒的輔助攔截方式,流體攜帶的顆粒由于質量和線速度而具有直線運動的慣性,顆粒離開流體主流而撞擊到濾材上,當流體改變運動方向時,慣性使顆粒撞擊到濾材表面, 因吸附力的存在顆粒便停留在撞擊表面。當流經過濾介質時流體必須沿彎曲通道行進.這將增加該過濾機理的有效性。

                過濾介質的過濾/分離效率由于直接攔截  慣性撞擊 擴散攔截的共同作用而增強。
