潮濕工業環境，在食品和飲料行業比較常見，例如牛奶廠、釀酒廠、冰凍食品、包裝和填充應用，為在這些應用中運行的設備提供不利條件。經常用水、泡沫、清潔劑/殺菌劑的徹底清洗使設備滿足由食品和藥物管理局和其他機構設置的衛生規章制度。
